Visa application support

About Visa information, please see the page of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, “Guide to Japanese Visas“. After identifying that a visa is needed, we recommend the following guidelines to obtain a visa for entry into Japan:
– Please register and pay the fee ESHP2026 after the registration starts (after 1 Aug, 2026).
– Please contact us via e-mail (eshp2026@mech.kumamoto-u.ac.jp) to request a letter of invitation and/or any other documents you need.
– We encourage you to apply for your visa as soon as possible. The visa application process sometimes may take a long time to complete

Note the following:
A letter of invitation does not guarantee issuance of a visa.
The decision to issue a visa will be made by the sole judgment of the local Japan Embassy or Consulate.
Japan Explosives Society or any other committees of ESHP2026 will not provide any financial support for travel, registration fees, or local expenses. For security purposes, letters of invitation can only be sent to individuals who have registered for ESHP2026.
